Teamwork makes the dream work….Radnor Mine officials share an update with Minister of Mines and Mining Development Honourable Winstone Chitando (seated) at Makaha

Gold miner, ZIMCN Radnor Mine has recorded a new high in it’s operations following a raft of production and community development measures aimed at entrenching it’s position in the local mining industry.

With the fourth and final quarter of the year now in it’s last lap, the Mine has continued to work towards it’s quarterly targets and goals buoyed by it’s record in the first three quarters of the year.

The mine which is situated in the Makaha area of Mutoko in Mashonaland East province made notable investments and acquisitions in the course of the year and also managed to give back to the local community.

According to shared updates, Radnor Mine managed to commission a new golf crushing plant which was officially launched by President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

As it sought to enhance production capacity, the mine acquired USD3.5million worth of mine dump trucks that added to their existing fleet.

As part of their community development initiatives, the mine rehabilitated roads and made sure they keep the environment safe.

To support the local education efforts, Radnor Mine donated USD6500 towards the refurbishment of the local Makaha Primary School. They also donated sanitary wear to local women, a move which was widely acknowledged by the community leadership and heath authorities.

As the country gears towards a USD12 billion mining industry by 2023, Radnor Mine also managed to meet all their quarterly production targets and it is hoped they continue with that trend in the new year.
